Hello Everybody:

My name is Tony Caruso and I welcome you to the Simply Tony website!

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York, and moved to Tampa, Florida in 1985.  As a boy I was inspired by my dad, renowned Tenor Charles Anthony who performed for 56 seasons (1954-2010) at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. There has always been that special musical beholdance and appreciation within my heart influenced in part by my dad, The Grateful Dead, Hot Tuna, Clarence White, The Kentucky Colonels, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice and David Grisman.

In 2004, I chose to step onto my own musical platform with the help of my guitar teacher Jeff Jones and my friend Jim Page. 

My Americana / Folk with a twist of Country, Rock, Reggae, Blues & Bluegrass music is now officially expressed by the release of my debut CD “Tony Tale”.  [Please feel free scroll the left side of this website; click on the Tony Tale CD link to purchase it or hear a few sampled songs, review the schedule, and/or join the mailing list to receive updates on shows and events. Today, I live with my beautiful wife Diane in the majestic earth setting of the Withlacoochee State Forest in Webster, Florida, by which the collective, has awakened and motivated so much of my original music.

This is the beginning of so much more to come and share for your enjoyment!
